ABOUT
OUR AREA RUGS
Use this section to help learn which rug is best for you and your
home.
Contemporary
Rugs
These area rugs are machine-made of polypropylene yarn and are between
¼-inch and 1/3-inch thick. The exception is the Confetti
group, which is wool. They're all easy to clean and won't fade or
bleed.
Modern
Rugs
Each of the area rugs in this collection is made from colorfast
synthetic yarn. It will wear beautifully, resist mold and mildew,
and clean easily. These rugs show off some of the brilliant colors
possible with synthetic fibers.
Wool
Rugs
These beautiful wool rugs are between ½-inch and ¾-inch
thick. Wool is known for its softness and durability, and many wool
rugs change shades with the light, adding to their beauty. Because
of the fine construction of these rugs, you'll never have to replace
them due to wear.
Area
Rugs
This group includes wool and synthetic yarns, selected to provide
you a rug in a variety of styles. Opt for a shag rug, a hooked rug
or one of several versatile designs. You're sure to find a rug that
is the perfect accent for your home.
Designer
Rugs
Our designer rugs combine form and function, with designs or artwork
by Susan Sargent, Kate Ward Thacker and Pablo Picasso. Each rug
in this section is carefully crafted of the finest 100% New Zealand
wool.
Discount
Rugs
You can shop for a bargain area rug here. We offer discount rugs
in wool and synthetic yarns, selected from styles for contemporary
and traditional tastes.
Southwestern
Rugs
Whether inspired by the land or modeled after traditional Southwestern
pueblo designs, these rugs bring you the popular look of the American
Southwest. They include both wool and synthetic yarns.
Handmade
Rugs
Our premiere wool rugs make up this group. They’re knotted
by hand using New Zealand wool, considered the world’s finest
wool. They’re designed to last a lifetime.
Oriental
Rugs
These Oriental rug designs are timeless. In some, classic looks
have been updated with contemporary colors and technology. Others
feature a 25-year warranty.
Flokati
Rugs
Each Flokati rug uses a centuries-old technique: wool is spun and
woven into long loops that are cut by hand. Then the rug is washed
in vats in mountain waterfalls. The swirling water fluffs the yarns
until they’re soft. This is the centuries-old original Flokati
technique.
Navajo
Rugs
These rugs are hand-woven on authentic Navajo looms by Navajo weavers.
They’re highly collectible, as each design is limited. A certificate
of authenticity signed by the weaver accompanies each rug. For each
Navajo rug sold, both AddaRug.com and Capel Inc. will make a contribution
to the Navajo Weaving Trust, a permanent endowment designed to further
the prosperity of the Navajo people, arts and culture.
Special
Sizes
You’ll find round rugs, square rugs and rug runners in this
group. The rugs in this section are selected from our machine-made
and handmade rugs in wool and synthetic yarns.
