1/8-Inch Thick, Open Weave Coating Made from Natural Plant Oils
This rug pad features an open-weave design that is 1/16" thinner than our other natural open-weave pad. It provides protection for hardwood, bamboo, laminate (Pergo), cork, tile (except Saltillo) and vinyl floors. It is partially constructed of a plant-based (organic) coating. The coating is partially made of plant oils. Certification is pending as a biodegradable product. This non-allergenic rug pad is better for the environment because it has a lower carbon footprint, using less energy to be produced or disposed of. The coating covers a thin skeleton or scrim, which is not an organic material, but much of the pad is plant-based. Made in the USA, it does not contain rubber or any imported components.
With a 20-year manufacturer's warranty not to discolor or stain your rug or your floors, this pad works well under tables or doors. Because it keeps your rug smooth to the surface, vacuuming is also easier. It can be easily trimmed with scissors to fit any rug size. Shipments are available only within the USA.

a rug pad will not make it lie flat or stop it from bunching up.

Sizes listed are exact. People with rug sizes not listed here usually purchase a pad that is one size larger, then cut it with a good pair of scissors. To properly fit a rug or runner, the pad should be one to two inches smaller than the rug on each side.

All rug fibers experience some shedding or pilling. This is characteristic of all fine wool rugs and is not considered a manufacturer's defect. Contributing factors include the yarn type and the manufacturing process. Machine-made rugs shed less than hand-made rugs. Synthetic yarns shed slightly less than wool yarns.
