Oriental Rug Pad 1/4 Inch Persian For Any Floor

This is the rug pad we recommend for fine oriental rugs or carpets. But of course you can place any type of rug over it. It is between 3/16" and 1/4" thick. And you can use it with rugs that you are putting on either hard surfaces (like hardwood floors or tile floors) or over carpeting. This pad is made of a backing of all natural rubber. The blue side is all virgin nylon and polypropylene fibers. This provides superb cushion, support and protection for all high-quality rugs. This pad is not suitable for damp areas such as wet kitchen or moist basement floors.

It's so good, it comes with a 20-year guarantee not to damage your rug or your floor. You place the blue side down on carpeted surfaces. For hard surfaces you place the natural rubber side down. We recommend one to two inches of fold-over on each side. This means that your rug should be up to one to two inches longer than the pad on each side, allowing the edge to fold-over naturally. The only reason that some people don't do an exact fit is because you might see it from the side. All sizes are in stock.

The lead time before your rug pad ships is typically three to four business days. They then ship via DHL Ground service. The long rolls typically take longer to ship.
